Orange Mountain Bikes - Alpine 160 AM Spec Sheet

Overview

When it come to tight, steep, gnarly and rough; 26inch wheels with a burly tyre have never let us down, and that's not about to happen. While it's fashionable to assert all the pros and cons of various wheel sizes, sometimes you just need to get on and ride, and that's exactly what this bike is about, no-nonsense ride-ability in the most challenging of situations. Whatever the size of your round things.

The Alpine 160 has always been a big bike for big mountain trails; with its 160mm of travel, rider adjustable geometry through a sliding shock shuttle and a solid 142mm rear axle this version of the Alpine 160 is designed to extract maximum thrills out of the descents, whether they be Alpine or otherwise.

That’s not to say it’s a slouch on the climbs, the bike that will find traction where others fail and spin you to the top of technical climbs with ease. In the most literal sense of the term, the Alpine 160 is a mountain bike, built for anything.

Why the Alpine 160 AM?

This bike is pretty much the Five AM replacement. Designed to be a proper all-round mountain bike for proper mountains. With a double crankset and bashring, it keeps your options open, taking on the all the ups and downs from trail centres to unknown back-country adventures.
